Terms of Service for RemTab
Effective date: 2026-09-12
Please read these terms carefully before using RemTab. By creating an account or using the App, you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the App.
1. What RemTab is
RemTab is a medication reminder app. It helps you keep track of the medications you take, reminds you when a dose is due (including a photo of the medication itself), and, if you choose, lets you connect a family member as a caregiver who can see your adherence and be alerted if a dose is missed.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be able to form a binding contract to use RemTab (in most places, 18 or older, or the age of legal capacity where you live). You don’t need an account to use RemTab’s core reminder features on a single device — an account is only required to connect a caregiver, or to keep your data when moving to a new phone.
You’re responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us right away (info@twonorthstudios.com) if you think someone else has access to it.
3. Caregiver connections
If you’re a patient, connecting a caregiver gives that person read access to your medication list, schedule, and adherence history, and lets them send you a small set of preset check-in messages. You can end this connection at any time in Settings — it takes effect immediately and doesn’t affect your own reminders in any way.
If you’re a caregiver, your access to a patient’s information exists only because they chose to grant it, and only for as long as they keep it granted. You may not attempt to access another person’s medication information through any means other than a connection they’ve knowingly created with you.
4. Medical disclaimer — please read this section
RemTab is a reminder tool. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- RemTab does not verify that a medication name, dose, or schedule you enter is correct, safe, or appropriate for you. That information comes entirely from you (or, if you’re a caregiver adding on a patient’s behalf, from you as the caregiver), and neither RemTab nor Two North Studios reviews or validates it.
- A reminder notification is not a guarantee. Notifications can be delayed, suppressed by your phone’s operating system or battery settings, or fail to arrive for reasons outside our control. Do not rely on RemTab as your only method of remembering to take medication that is critical to your health, and always follow the advice of a qualified healthcare professional over anything in the App.
- RemTab does not detect drug interactions, dosing errors, allergies, or any other clinical risk. If you have questions about your medication, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
- If you or someone you care for experiences a medical emergency, contact emergency services immediately — do not use RemTab, or wait for a RemTab reminder, in an emergency.
5. Acceptable use
Don’t use RemTab to:
- store or share information about someone else’s medication without their knowledge or consent (other than a child in your care, where you are responsible for their medication);
- attempt to access another user’s account or data without authorization;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where the law where you live gives you the right to do so despite this restriction;
- use the App in any way that violates applicable law.
We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these terms.
6. Subscriptions and payment
RemTab’s caregiver subscription is not live yet — RemTab’s reminder features are, and remain, free for every patient, permanently. Once subscriptions launch, this section will cover what the subscription unlocks, that payment is processed entirely by Google Play under its own terms, how to cancel via Google Play’s own subscription management, that a lapsed or cancelled subscription never affects a patient’s reminders, and Google Play’s standard refund policy applying rather than one of our own.
7. Your content
You keep ownership of the information you put into RemTab (medication names, photos, notes). By using the App, you grant us the limited right to store and process that information as needed to provide the service to you and, where you’ve connected one, your caregiver — see our Privacy Policy for the full detail on how that works.
8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law where you live allows. Two North Studios is not liable for any missed dose, health outcome, or other harm arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including where that arises from a notification being delayed or not delivered. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under the law where you live (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, where that limitation isn’t permitted).
9. Changes to the App or these terms
We may update the App and these terms over time. If we make a material change to these terms, we’ll update the effective date above and, for a genuinely significant change, notify you in the app. Continuing to use RemTab after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
10. Termination
You can stop using RemTab and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, or if we discontinue the App — if we do the latter, we’ll try to give reasonable notice first.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
