RemTab
An Android medication reminder built around one idea: show the patient a photo of their actual pill at the moment of the dose, not a generic icon, plus quiet, opt-in caregiver oversight for family checking in from a distance.

The brief
Most reminder apps assume the person taking the medication is also the one who'll notice a missed dose. In practice it's often a caregiver, in another house or another city. RemTab had to serve both people without turning either into the other's supervisor, and without requiring a patient to hand over their health data just to set a reminder.
How we made it
The reminder is the product: a photo of your own pill, in your own bottle, shown on the lock screen at the exact time you need it, the same image you set up, so recognition happens before reading does. A patient can use RemTab fully offline and never create an account; connecting a caregiver is opt-in and reversible, and even then a caregiver sees adherence, never a diagnosis. No ads, no analytics SDK, no tracking of any kind, in an app that handles health data every day.
What changed
A dose reminder that reads as a photo before it reads as a task, and a caregiver relationship built on visibility instead of surveillance, shipped with zero third-party trackers, by design.
